Having issues connecting your XTouch

Verify Mackie Control Mode

The X-Touch needs to be in Mackie Control mode to communicate properly with the system. Double-check your hardware settings to make sure it hasn't defaulted to a different protocol.

Check for Software Conflicts

MIDI devices don't like to share. Make sure your X-Touch isn't currently connected to or "captured" by any other programs before you try connecting it to MSA.

Enable Browser MIDI Permissions

Since the interface runs in your browser, you need to explicitly allow it to talk to your hardware. Check your browser settings to ensure MIDI permissions are enabled for the site.

Keep Firmware & Hardware Compatible

Make sure your X-Touch firmware is fully up to date. You’ll also want to verify that the device you're using to run the Software Agent on is current on any software updates.

Confirm Account Status

It’s a simple check, but easy to overlook: make sure you have an active paid subscription or a current trial of Mixing Station Anywhere. Some hardware integration features require an active account status to initialize.
