Having trouble connecting Mixing Station Web to audio mixer

If you're having trouble connecting Mixing Station Web to your mixer, be sure to check these common issues:

Check for a Static IP

Most connection drops happen because the mixer is using a dynamic IP address that changes unexpectedly. Switching to a static IP ensures the software always knows exactly where to find your hardware.

Clear Out "Network Weirdness"

Local network interference can cause erratic behavior. If things feel "glitchy," try disabling any active firewalls temporarily to see if they are blocking the handshake between your devices.

Update Your Software & Hardware

Make sure you’re running on Windows 10 (or a compatible OS) and using a supported browser like Chrome. It’s also vital to confirm that your Software Agent is up to date and that your mixer is running a compatible firmware version.

Manage Active Connections

Sometimes the mixer thinks it's "full" because of perceived active connections that aren't actually humans using the board. If you're being locked out, you may need to clear those ghost connections to make room for your session.

Spark-Specific Troubleshooting

Stick to One Network Connection

If your Spark isn't seeing the mixer, double-check its physical connections. Make sure the box isn't trying to talk to the network through a hardwired ethernet cable and Wi-Fi at the same time; it needs to stay on one single path to remain stable.
