If you have a StreamYard account and want to add BoxCast as a destination to broadcast to, follow these steps below.

*You have to be on a paid version of StreamYard to access their custom RTMP features. If you are on the free version, you will not be able to stream to BoxCast.

Step 1

Log in to your StreamYard account. Click Destinations, then click Add a destination.

Step 2

Click Custom RTMP. Here you’ll enter your RTMP codes from the BoxCast Dashboard. (You can find these in the Sources tab.) If you don't have an RTMP Source yet, check out this article.

Step 3
Enter the BoxCast Server URL in the RTMP Server URL and the BoxCast Stream Key in the Stream Key area. Once entered, click Add RTMP Server.

Step 4

Go back to the home screen of StreamYard and click Create a broadcast. Select your destinations, select BoxCast, and give your broadcast a title. Once all your settings are correct, click Create Broadcast.

Step 5

Once the broadcast is created with the right destination, click Go live to start sending the StreamYard feed to BoxCast. You’ll know if the feed is going to BoxCast because you’ll see a green connected dot in the Sources tab. You’ll need to have a broadcast scheduled on the BoxCast Dashboard in order to go live on BoxCast.

You’ll also notice a green dot on the Broadcast Details page for BoxCast when you’re live.
