Mixing Station Web compatibility is constantly evolving. We'll update this list as we add support for more devices. For now, here's what you need to connect with Mixing Station Web.

Compatible Encoder or Mixing Station Agent

You can connect Mixing Station Web to your mixer with our Spark streaming encoder, or you can download the Mixing Station Agent onto a compatible computer on the same network.

You must download the Mixing Station Agent onto a computer (PC or Mac), but once that's set up, you can do your actual mixing on a computer or mobile device.

If you're using the agent, you'll also need to make sure that your computer has a way to input audio, and ideally video. The audio capture is vital, and the video capture is a nice-to-have so you can take advantage of the low latency video preview while you're mixing.

Some examples of an audio input device include this XLR-to-USB adapter interface. For video, you could use something like this video capture card.

Compatible Browser

For the best Mixing Station Web experience, we recommend using Google Chrome. Other browsers may not work as expected.

Subscription Requirements

In order to use all of the features of Mixing Station Web, you must have a Mixing Station Anywhere subscription. You can sign up for it here. Once you're signed up, you'll be prompted to link or complete sign up for your BoxCast account, which will allow you access to Mixing Station Web.

Audio Mixers

We have a full list of compatible mixers here.
