Overview + Purpose
This guide will serve as a walkthrough and reference for any additional edits or design changes you'd like to make to your BoxCast Site after it's been published.
Adding New Content
If you would like to add additional content, there are several ways to do so.
Adding New Pages
Open the BoxCast Sites Editor by clicking to the Sites Dashboard, then click Edit.
On the left-hand side, click on Pages.
Here you will see a list of currently published pages. Click on +New Page.
You will see options for selecting templates for your new page. Select the best template OR Empty Page to start a page from scratch.
Once you make your selection, you will be asked to name the page. Be sure to name this something relevant to your page, as this will also be appended to the URL of your site (e.g., “Our Staff” will be appended as “our-staff” at the end of your URL).

Tip: When choosing templates, you can select one that matches your ideal style, even if it does not correspond to the type of page you are building. You can add, remove, or change any aspect of the selected page template. If you are trying to build a page listing your services but enjoy a template for listing recipes, you can change the terms and design to match your goal.
Adding New Images, Text, Videos, etc.
Open the BoxCast Sites Editor by clicking to the Sites Dashboard, then click Edit.
On the left-hand side, click Pages.
Select the page you would like to make changes to.
Click on the element you would like to change.
In the menu that appears, you will be given many options to change depending on the type of element chosen:
For images and videos, click Replace.
For text, click into the text field and make text adjustments as needed.
For images and videos, you can either upload a new image using the Upload button or use one of the default image or video resources available in the menu.
Once you have made your changes, be sure to click Publish. Doing so will update your website with the changes.
Adding Widgets
Many widgets are available for you to add to your site, such as contact forms, image galleries, maps, and even a BoxCast video player!
To Add Widgets:
Open the BoxCast Sites Editor by clicking to the Sites Dashboard, then click Edit.
On the left-hand side, click Widgets.
When you find the widget you’d like to use, you can click on it or drag it into place. We recommend clicking and dragging to place the widget exactly where you need it.
Once the widget is placed, you can make additional adjustments by clicking on the Design tab of the widget.

REMOVING UNNEEDED CONTENT
Sometimes you’ll want to rearrange or remove parts of your site when they become outdated or no longer necessary.
REMOVING PAGES
Open the BoxCast Sites Editor by clicking to the Sites Dashboard, then click Edit.
On the left-hand side, click Pages.
You will see a list of your published pages. Click on the gear icon next to the page you want to remove.
In the menu that appears, click on Delete.
You will be asked to confirm to delete the page. After confirming, your page will be removed.
Note: You cannot delete your homepage. However, you can change the homepage to a different existing page if need be.
Changing Your Home Page
Follow the above steps and click on the gear icon on the page you’d like to mark as the home page.
Select Set as home page.
After confirming, you can now delete the previous home page if needed.
REMOVING IMAGES, VIDEOS, TEXT, ETC.
You can remove almost any media on your site as needed.
Open the BoxCast Sites Editor by clicking to the Sites Dashboard, then click Edit.
On the left-hand side, click on Pages.
Select the page you would like to make changes to.
Click on the element you would like to change.
You can delete the element by either clicking the gear icon and selecting Delete or by clicking the red X button on the element when you hover over it.
Ensure that you are deleting the media itself and not the row or column on which the media is set.
Tip: If you make a mistake, click the Undo arrow at the top of the editor page. You always want to use this instead of Ctrl + Z.
REMOVING WIDGETS
Similarly to images and other media, you can remove widgets whenever needed.
Open the BoxCast Sites Editor by clicking to the Sites Dashboard, then click Edit.
On the left-hand side, click on Pages.
Select the page you would like to make changes to.
Click on the widget you would like to change.
You can delete the widget by either clicking the gear icon and selecting Delete or clicking the red X button on the element when you hover over it.
