Increase engagement and create a sense of excitement with the Countdown widget that enables you to add a real-time countdown to your site. Use it to keep visitors informed, build interest, and encourage them to take action by letting them know when an event is taking place.

If you'd like to set a countdown for your BoxCast Streaming Broadcasts, we have a separate widget for that! It connects seamlessly with the Streaming Dashboard so you don't have to manually set up when your next stream is going live.

This Countdown can be only be configured to end on an hour (for example, 6:00 PM).

To add the widget:

  1. In the left panel, click Widgets.

  2. Click and drag the Countdown widget into your site.

To learn more about adding widgets to your site, see Add Widgets.

To access the content editor:

  2. Set the date and time the countdown ends. Select a timezone.

  3. Type a Time's up message that appears after the countdown ends.

    • Select to Show counter at 0000 and message beneath it, or to Remove counter and display message only.
