Connect Production Truck to BoxCast

Use Production Truck from BlueFrame Technology as part of your live streaming workflow with BoxCast.

Blueframe Technology's Production Truck can hook up to the BoxCaster with a couple simple steps. You will need a Black Magic Ultrastudio Mini Monitor, the software for this device and a thunderbolt cable to do this. Follow these steps below.

Step 1

Connect the Black Magic Ultrastudio Mini Monitor to your MAC or PC via the Thunderbolt port or Mini DisplayPort.

Step 2
Connect the BoxCaster to the Black Magic Ultrastudio Mini Monitor.

Step 3
Open Production Truck

Step 4
Click on the gear icon in the middle of the screen and select Audio/Video -- Program Output 1 -- Source -- Ultrastudio Mini Monitor. At that point, you can output Production Truck to a different source (e.g. the BoxCaster or monitor).

This will now show the program output feed on the BoxCaster. You will still need to schedule a stream in the BoxCast Dashboard to begin the stream. If you have any other questions about this process, please contact questions@boxcast.com and we would be happy to help!
