Stream in 1080p30 with the BoxCaster

Learn how to configure your BoxCaster to stream in 1080p30.

The BoxCaster gives you options when it comes to frame rate and resolution. Below are the steps needed to stream in 1080p30.

Note: The BoxCaster will natively pass a 1080p30 input out at 1080. This article only applies to 1080i60 inputs.

Note: While the BoxCaster (standard, clear model) can ingest 1080p60 it cannot output 60fps. Any 1080p60 input will be streamed out at 720, no matter what setting is selected.


Log in to the BoxCast Dashboard and click on Sources.

Click on your BoxCaster and click Edit Settings.

Go to Advanced Settings and change the Video Resolution to 1080p and Save Changes.

Every time you broadcast, that Boxcaster will stream in 1080p.
