Mixing Station Web has an integration that works with Shure and Sennheiser mics to show you at-a-glance data related to your devices. You can check signal strength, battery levels, and more. Here's how to set it up.
Navigate to the RF tab at the top of your screen, and click on Add RF Device.
There are a few tips you should be aware of at this stage. One, your system needs to be on the same network as your Mixing Station Agent (downloaded onto your computer) or Spark encoder.
Two, you may need to set up permissions with your RF system to allow us to connect. There are some instructions on the set up screen, or you can refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
For Shure, you'll need to enable 3rd party control (this view may vary by device):
Then you'll choose your brand and device model.
We will search your network for compatible RF devices. You have the ability to select more than one device at a time, so you don't have to repeat this process.
Once everything has loaded, you'll be able to see all of your devices in the RF Integrations screen.
You can then click channel assignment and assign each mic to a channel so that the information will appear in your mixer view.
Once they have a channel assignment, you'll be able to see them in the mixer view.
It will even pop up with a warning when a battery on one of your devices is low.
That's all there is to it! Now you'll be able to see your battery life (minutes/hours will show with certain devices + battery types), gain, frequency, and the signal strength of your device, all at a glance inside the Mixing Station Web dashboard.
