Symptom: When trying to send a live broadcast to Facebook you do not see a post scheduled on the chosen page. You may also see this error page when checking the Facebook link from your broadcast details:
Solution: Try the following steps to resend your broadcast information to Facebook.
Go to your live broadcast, and click on Edit.
Go to Destinations, and remove the Facebook page that is having issues, then click Update.
It is very important to update here so that our servers see a change take place (i.e. Facebook is being removed as a destination)
Go back to your live broadcast, and click on Edit again. Click on Destinations, and re-add your Facebook page. Click Update.
The process can take up to a minute. Once complete, you should see a new path created to Facebook on the BoxCast side, and Facebook should generate a post. While there may be occasional broader issues that require Facebook's direct attention, this method is often effective in resolving most low-level problems that prevent Facebook from creating a post for your stream.
Alternative: Try creating the live event ahead of time (up to 7 days in advance).
We cannot guarantee that Facebook will not still have issues but at least you can see that they have created the post on your given page (which seems to be the root of most Facebook issues in the first place so it should help to alleviate the problem).
Click into the future broadcast's details page, and look for Facebook Live to the right of the video player. Click to expand, then click Create the scheduled live event now.
