The BoxCast video player has the ability to share your broadcast via Facebook, X (Twitter), email, embedding on your website, and it even creates its own BoxCast.tv link for each broadcast. These sharing options can be found in the bottom right corner of any broadcast.

This is not how you stream to social media. These buttons will post a link to show media for viewers to click on and watch. To learn how to stream directly to those platforms, read our articles on adding social media destinations.

When using the promotional tools, each option will do something a little different. Below are examples of each.

X (Twitter)

Clicking on the X (Twitter) icon will make your video player appear right in the timeline for your X followers. They can watch the video directly on X or can click on the link to be redirected to BoxCast.Tv.

Facebook

Clicking the Facebook icon will create this post above. You are not able to play the video directly off of facebook but once someone clicks on this post, they will be redirected to BoxCast.tv.

Email

Clicking on the email icon will provide you with this text to send in an email. A viewer will be redirected to the broadcast by clicking on the BoxCast.tv link.

Embed Code for Single Event

Clicking on the embed icon will allow you to receive an embed code for just that broadcast.
