Recently, BoxCast switched their RTMP addresses to RTMPS to make your broadcasts more secure. As a result, some encoders will give an error and not connect because they do not like sending RTMPS. It seems like we're seeing this happen particularly with Wirecast users. Good news: There's an easy fix.
Remove the "S" from the RTMP address.
Here, you can see the Server URL is:
rtmps://rtmp.boxcast.com/live
Simply remove the "s", making it this instead:
rtmp://rtmp.boxcast.com/live
