Learn about how to adjust different settings and options in the BoxCast video player.

How to Play a Video

To play a BoxCast video, click the play button in the bottom left corner of the video player.

How to choose your quality on the BoxCast video player

Our player is designed to automatically select the highest quality your internet is able to handle, so we generally recommend leaving it on Auto, to prevent buffering. If you would like to force a certain bitrate or quality, simply click the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

How to make the video player go full screen

To make the video player go full screen, hover over the video player and click the expandable arrows in the far right corner.

Speed up or slow down the video playback

When you're watching a past broadcast, you have the ability to speed up or slow down the video. To do this, hover over the video player, click the gear icon, and select Speed.

Video Indexing

If the broadcast you are watching has video indexing, you can click the Video Index tab in the top right corner and select the part of the video you'd like to jump forward to. This will allow you to easily navigate to different sections of the video.

If the broadcast you are watching has documents attached, you can click on the tab in the top right corner and select the document you wish to view. You can also scroll down in this window and click the Pop-Out button to have it appear in another tab.
