Common Questions

How do I set the streaming resolution?

The Pro will automatically select the optimal streaming resolution for your broadcast based on the video input resolutions and available network bandwidth.

How do I change the video source on the Pro?

You cannot manually select a video source on the Pro. It will automatically prefer SDI. If you want HDMI, simply unplug the SDI connection.

Can I do switching on the screen, with multiple cameras for HDMI and SDI?

No. It cannot do any switching or support for multiple cameras. The Pro should sit downstream in a video workflow from any production equipment.

What happens if I can change video resolutions midstream?

The Pro will adapt and continue to stream but it is highly unrecommended. View a comprehensive list of BoxCaster-compatible video resolutions and frame rates.
