If you're streaming from an iPad, version 15 of iOS/iPadOS is recommended for devices operating Broadcaster app.

Does the Broadcaster app work on Android devices?
Broadcaster app is not available for Android. However, we recommend an app called Larix to stream from Android devices.

Yes. You will need to sign up for a plan.

Can viewers watch a live stream from Broadcaster app?

No. The Broadcaster app is for organizations to stream live events. If you're trying to watch an event streamed with BoxCast, contact the broadcasting organization for viewing information.

Do I need hardware - like a BoxCaster or a BoxCaster Pro - to use Broadcaster app?
No. While BoxCast hardware is great in many workflows, it is not required for use with Broadcaster app. The app uses your iOS/iPadOS device with the BoxCast service, in order to transcode and stream your broadcast.
