Before starting, make certain you have:
A computer running the BoxCast RemoteMix app OR a BoxCast Spark encoder.
A way to send video and audio into your Spark OR the computer running the app (e.g. a Blackmagic ATEM, Blackmagic Web Presenter, Elgato game capture card).
Think of this like plugging a camera and microphone into Zoom for a meeting.
Set Up the BoxCast RemoteMix App
Open the BoxCast RemoteMix app on your computer.
Select your:
Video device (ex: capture card)
Audio device (ex: USB audio interface)
Click Save Changes.
Connect from a Remote Location (Web)
From your BoxCast RemoteMix dashboard, select your mixer and click Connect.
Once inside the mixer view, click Show Video Preview. Doing so will automatically trigger the audio preview option. Drag or pop out the preview window to another screen as needed.
Use the Mixing Station App
If you prefer the Mixing Station app interface, simply open the Mixing Station app on your device, and click Add Mixer.
Select BoxCast RemoteMix, then log in to your BoxCast account and connect to your mixer.
Inside your mixer, click the Audio/Video button.
A separate browser window will open. Click Start Preview, and your video and audio preview will be there.
