BoxCast RemoteMix has an integration that works with Shure and Sennheiser microphones, which shows your RF device's data at a glance. Check signal strength, battery levels, and more.
RF Device Setup
1. Navigate to the RF tab at the top of your BoxCast RemoteMix dashboard, and click on Add RF Device.
2. Your RF system needs to be on the same network as your computer running the BoxCast RemoteMix app, or your Spark encoder.
3. You may need to set up permissions with your RF system to allow BoxCast RemoteMix to connect. You will find some instruction on the setup screen, or simply refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
With Shure systems, you will need to enable third-party control (view shown below may vary by device).
4. Choose your brand and device model.
A network search will begin for compatible RF devices. In order to avoid repetition of this process you may click the box beside any and all devices which appear.
RF Device Managment
You will see all your devices in the RF Integrations screen once connected.
Assign each microphone to a channel so the RF device's information will appear in your mixer view.
Once assigned to channels, you'll be able to see them in the mixer view.
Warnings will appear when a device's battery is low.
That's all there is to it! Device battery life, gain, frequency, and the signal strength, all at a glance inside the BoxCast RemoteMix dashboard!
